Digital Mosaic contains images from the University Libraries' Maps, Photographs, and Biological Specimens collections. It also includes photographs from Connecticut History Online, a collaboration among the Connecticut Historical Society, the Connecticut State Library, the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center at the University of Connecticut, Mystic Seaport, and the New Haven Colony Historical Society.

The repository is currently home to more than 20,500 digital objects, is OAI-PMH compliant, and is a recognized OAIster data contributor.
